Jordan has been with EDC since 2014, starting as an intern while studying, then becoming full-time in 2016.
As a Structural Engineer and Fire Designer, Jordan has worked across a large range of projects in the residential and commercial sectors, including design of new residential houses and apartment buildings, alterations and recladding of existing buildings, seismic assessments, and construction monitoring. He particularly enjoys projects where he can provide both structural and fire services, to ensure the designs for each discipline complement one another.
As Fire Design Technical Lead, Jordan understands how small details have the potential to derail a building design, and works with the fire team to offer a detail-oriented service with early engagement to avoid belated budget implications and structural design changes. His understanding of Passive Fire Protection, construction details and Consent processes helps avoid common pitfalls.
Jordan is a keen musician and songwriter, and plays in a band with his old schoolmates.
