Tim joins EDC with four years of student and post-graduate experience working on large energy projects in northern Canada.
Before moving to New Zealand in July 2016, Tim worked with the multinational engineering firm Arup on a massive concrete offshore oil platform and used advanced computer modelling techniques to design for some of the most extreme environmental conditions in the world, including iceberg impact and seismically-induced loss of bearing.
Tim also has experience coordinating on-site construction works and supporting clients as projects move off the design table and into the execution phase.
Currently, Tim is working towards chartership with IPENZ and a master’s degree in business administration. In his free time Tim enjoys sea kayaking and is looking forward to exploring New Zealand’s renowned hiking tracks.
