We have now completed this task and are very happy with the results, not only in knowing that our Hall and adjoining rooms are safer, but also that they are now suitable for a wider range of activities.
On this project EDC led East Coast Bays Methodist Parish members through the building strengthening process to develop a bespoke and cost conscious solution. The outcome involved replacing the roofing to lightweight materials, meaning that strengthening elements were minimised substantially, which reduced the overall strengthening costs yet achieved the strengthening target of 67%NBS.
